This abstract wood sculpture is made from solid wood and finished with a combination of CNC carving and hand sanding. The simple, rounded form is balanced by a detailed geometric surface pattern and a vertical opening through the center.

Solid Wood with CNC Carved Texture

The sculpture is made from solid wood, allowing the natural grain and warmth of the material to remain visible.

The geometric pattern on the surface is produced using CNC carving. CNC machining helps us control the shape, line spacing and carving details during production. After machining, the surface is carefully hand-sanded and finished by our craftsmen.

This combination of CNC precision and hand finishing gives the sculpture a clean overall appearance while retaining the natural feel of a handmade wood artwork.

Because every piece is made from natural wood, the grain, color and small details may vary slightly from one sculpture to another. These natural variations are part of the character of solid wood.

A Simple Form with Strong Surface Detail

The overall shape is inspired by a rounded, organic form. Instead of adding complicated decorative elements, the design relies on the shape of the wood, the carved texture and the central opening.

The vertical opening running through the middle creates a clear division in the sculpture. When placed under natural or architectural lighting, the opening and carved surface produce different levels of shadow and depth.
